The back doors of the All-Source van: We work with all insurance providers
The short answer

All-Source AutoGlass bills every insurance company directly and helps Northern Colorado drivers through windshield and glass claims. Colorado law (C.R.S. 10-4-613) says your insurer cannot require you to use a particular glass shop as a condition of paying the claim. What you pay depends on your policy: some customers pay nothing, others pay their deductible.

How does a glass claim work with you?

  1. Call or text us with the vehicle, the damage and your insurance policy information.
  2. We will call the insurance provider to file the claim. Once we answer all their questions, we will bring on the policy holder so the insurance company can verify their info.
  3. After the call we receive the work order, get the glass ordered and job scheduled.
  4. We bill your insurer directly for the glass and any camera recalibration.
  5. You pay only what your policy leaves to you, such as a deductible.

Can my insurance company make me use their shop?

No. Under Colorado Revised Statutes section 10-4-613, no insurer may require that glass repair or replacement be done by a particular business as a condition of paying the claim. The insurer may limit what it pays to a fair competitive price, it must pay for the work done by the shop you choose, and it may not use intimidation or threats to steer you to a vendor.

Insurers often suggest a shop. You do not have to use it, and you can choose us.

Will I have to pay anything?

It depends on your coverage. Glass damage is usually claimed under comprehensive coverage. With a deductible, you pay the deductible and the insurer pays the rest. Some policies cover glass with no deductible, and some insurers pay for chip repair in full. Colorado does not require insurers to offer zero-deductible glass coverage, so check your policy, or ask us to check it with you.

Will a glass claim raise my rates?

That is your insurer’s decision and it varies by company. If you are worried, ask your agent before you file. We can give you a cash price to compare.

Does insurance cover the camera recalibration?

When the manufacturer requires a recalibration after a new windshield, it is part of replacing the glass, and we bill it to your insurer with the windshield. See ADAS camera recalibration.
